SWAY Magazine presents Toronto Monologue Slam

Toronto, ON - SWAY Magazine will be hosting the Toronto Monologue Slam. This event will include a series of monologues on the topic of black history followed by an Oscar party. It will be held on February 26, 2012 at the Trane Studio (964 Bathurst Street). It will start at 4pm and continue until the end of the Academy Awards. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. We have schedule the next gathering for February 18, 2012 @ TAIBU Community Health Centre from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This is a free event.

Please make every effort to attend and be on time… at this meeting we will be focusing on Black History and Sickle Cell in addition we will be working on our Terms of Reference for this support group.   

Lunch and daycare is provided so please invite and forward this invite to as many people as you can.

Valentine's Day Brunch to support sickle cell anemia

The National Council of Barbadian Associations in Canada Inc. presents the 9th Annual Valentine Brunch to support sickle cell anemia. This event is being held on February 12, 2012 from 1:30pm to 5pm at the Alex Manoogian Cultural Centre. Please see the attached document for more details.

Sickle Cell Benefit Cruise 2012

All aboard! A cruise to support the Sickle Cell Association of Ontario will be casting off on December 9, 2012. Please see the attachment below for details on this once in a lifetime adventure.

Fallsview Casino Bus Trip

The Scarborough Domino and Culture Club will be rolling the dice and flipping the cards at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Canada. 
Part of the proceeds from this event will be going to the Sickle Cell Association of Ontario. 

When: Sunday, November 20, 2011
Where: pick-up #1 from Scarborough Town Centre (next to the YMCA) at 11:00am, pick-up #2 from Dufflaw Plaza at 11:30am
